Is the iPhone 11 waterproof?

Technically it is not waterproof, and it's water resistant. The iPhone 11 is rated IP68, so it is water resistant up to 6.5 feet underwater for 30 mins. It may survive heavy rain, but definitely not recommended to swim with it. Apple noted that this resistance is not permanent and may decrease over time.
